My time away with Emily had been a very adventurous one, we explored and learnt many things, whilst also making memories. We stayed in Happisburgh, which is a lovely seaside village in Norfolk.
So one day we went to Happisburgh seafront and had a walk on the beach, which is now one of my favourite beaches as it was quiet and lots of rock pools.
One day we went to Great Yarmouth and went to the Time and tide museum and learnt alot about how famous the herring was. Also did you know that Great Yarmouth was the place where fish fingers were invented in 1955 by Birds Eye? As well as playing a bit of crazy golf and a few arcades.
Then we went to Sheringham and boarded the North Norfolk Railway, which for me was a big treat as I love steam trains and had a quick trip to Cromer pier, whilst it was windy.
Another day we went to Wells to do a bit of crabbing, which I had never done before. At first I couldn’t get the hang of it, but once I got used to it and practice, it was quite fun. Also had some fish and chips for lunch and made our way to our next stop in Heacham.
Whilst we were at Heacham, we did some kayaking, which was great fun, I felt cool wearing a wetsuit and looked alot slimmer than normal, as well as wearing the special kayak sunglasses, felt like a super cool sport star. However it did result in me falling into the sea, all I can say is it is a good thing I can swim.
All in all it was great fun and I felt very relaxed and refreshed. A holiday well spent and enjoyed with loved ones.
